Police DSP Naseem returned home from BPL

Nasim Shah has been honored after leaving the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) and returning to his home country Pakistan. Balochistan Police appointed him as DSP or Deputy Superintendent of Police. He has also been appointed as the Goodwill Ambassador of Balochistan Police.

On Saturday (February 04) Nasim was handed over this responsibility in a ceremony organized at the IG Police office in Quetta, Pakistan.

Expressing his sincerity towards everyone in the event, Nasim said, "I was afraid of the police when I was a child. My parents used to scare me by calling the police if I misbehaved. But as I grew up, the fear gradually disappeared. I appreciate the sacrifices the police make to keep us safe. They not only risk their lives for us, but also work tirelessly to make various services available to us easily.'

Pakistani cricketers becoming police ambassadors is nothing new. Pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi was made Goodwill Ambassador by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police in July last year.
